WordPress Web Design
After your initial enquiry we’ll ask you to fill out a few questions to ensure we are a good fit, we’ll then have a quick chat to find out what you require and if we can help. If you are local to Worcester (don’t worry if you aren’t, we can work by phone or email too!) then we will arrange a face to face meeting to discuss your requirements further and at that point we will discuss the price and what it includes.
Once we have all the relevant information we build your website on one of our servers. You will be given access to this so you can see the website being built & can easily advise us what you like and what you don’t.
Once we have thoroughly tested the site and you are happy with it we can quickly & easily transfer the site to your domain and go ‘Live’!
It is of course, important for you to keep your website up to date once it’s built, and as we use the WordPress framework to build the majority of our sites it’s super easy for you to log in and make changes yourself! We will of course show you how to do this when your site goes live.
Once the site is complete and ‘live’ you will then be responsible for updating & maintaining it, including routine and security updates. This is an extremely important part of running a website. Poorly maintained websites not only look stale, they also rank poorly in Google and are at a much higher risk from potential hackers.
If you would prefer to leave this work to someone else so you can concentrate on running your business then we do offer competitively priced care packages to keep you covered!
Asking the price of a website is like asking the price of a car. If you compare a second hand family car to a brand new Rolls Royce, the price difference is vast, although both basically do the same job by getting you from A to B..
We know from experience that people like to have an idea of price before contacting us so as a rough guide, a simple no frills single page brochure website will start from approx. £600. Prices for multi page & E-Commerce will depend on the complexity of features needed and amount of content.
The prices quoted relate to the design of the website only. They don’t include purchase of the website name or the various elements required to keep a website running which include things like hosting, security, updating, and backups.
It is an old saying but you do get what you pay for. We know there are ‘designers’ out there offering websites for £99 inclusive of domain name & hosting, but if you are honest with yourself, you know the quality isn’t going to be very good!
